Pretty in Pearls

A couple of weeks ago, my mom bought me this lovely pink cardigan embellished with pearls from H&M for only $20! It's part of my Christmas present and I love it. On Wednesday, my friends and I did a Secret Santa gift exchange and my friend got me this pearl bracelet, these gold bangles, and this gorgeous necklace. I decided to wear it all the next day along with my gold ring, jeggings, and coffee-coloured riding boots from Ecco.

Sorry there are any more pictures (they didn't turn out very well). I'm officially on holiday break and I'm going to watch Eloise at Christmastime tonight!

Lanvin ♥ H&M

So I'm finally posting pictures of the things I got on November 20. Please excuse the my terrible photography skills. Blame the lighting and the camera.

Forever 21 Minnie Muse Nameplate Necklace, Lanvin ♥ H&M t-shirt

The bag that they put the shirts in.

I'm so grateful to actually own these items and huge thanks to my mom who waited with me for an hour to get these! I love you!

Bedazzled Birdhouses

So a couple Saturdays ago, I really SHOULD have been spending time doing my homework, but the glue gun wall calling me! I got this birdhouse from the dollar store in the beginning of summer and painted it in July to look like the Barbie dream house I used to have. Pink body, Tiffany box blue roof, and white trimming. So it was just sitting there in my room and recently when I went to the dollar store they were selling pink and purple rhinestones for $1.25 (for a pack of 300!) So I decided to bedazzle my birdhouse and make it bee-you-tee-ful! It kind of reminds me of Britney Spears' new perfume, Radiance. I think Barbie would definitely approve!

[Insert Pictures Here]

So today was crazy! I went to Holt's and got my friend a Links of London bracelet with a mini silver heart charm (on sale) for her upcoming birthday party. Anyways, across the street is an H&M. So I saw a few people carrying the Lanvin ♥ H&M bags. Then I started freaking out. My mom then told me that the line was out today. I've been searching online more info for months and on the shopping website (UK) they said you could only buy on November 23rd but not I realized they only meant online. So we went across the street and went upstairs where the stuff were and then...

GONE. Empty shelves. Nothing left.

Pretty depressing. So then we walked down to this big mall (the Eaton Centre) and I hoped that there were still stuff left. I went inside and there was a huge lineup leading to the back of the store. So I waited for an hour and people pushed (this guy in the orange puffy jacket) went right in front of me and grabbed two t-shirts without even looking at them! It was so crazy and busy! But I ended up getting the t-shirt with the girl with the bow, earrings, and eyelashes and the one with the 3 girls on it. My mom helped me pay for them a bit, but I'm so excited to wear them to school on Monday! Either with skinny pants (black or camel) and an Alice + Olivia black jeweled bracelet, or patterned tights and a skirt. I'll post pictures tomorrow. And I'm still excited to get the opportunity to just wear them, even though their the wrong sizes.

Holt's Holiday Windows Over the Years

Over the years, Holt Renfrew has it's annual grand opening of their holiday windows. Fortunately for me I saw them in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Unfortunately, they didn't have a special this year. I remember there's always famous singers like Patti LaBelle or Kristin Chenoweth. I took pictures from 2008 and 2009 (more here) but this year, I went down and had my camera, but there was a little problem. It was daylight and there were so many people and I felt weird there with my little digital camera snapping pictures of bejeweled socks and truffles. And I didn't want people to stare at me. So the 2010 picture are taken by staff of HR (can be seen here). But other than 2010, I took all of the other pictures. Enjoy!

2008: Golds, angels, stars, metallics

2009: Dark colours, birds, snowmen, intricate detail

You don't know how badly I wanted to take one of these ballerinas home!

Santa's sure in for a feast!

Bonjour Monsieur Lagerfeld!

Is that Anna Wintour I see underneath those shades?

2010 Windows: HR boxes, food, bright colours, sequins (I love the bejeweled socks!)

In love with those bedazzled gray, red, and white socks! I really wanted to take a picture of those!

I was staring at the punch buggy for 10 minutes!

Trick-or-Chic

Guess what today is? Halloween! I wanted to show you the costume I wore to the dance on Friday and I will be wearing tonight. I was a flapper girl. Before daisy dukes and bikinis on top, we had Daisy Buchanan (The Great Gatsby.) So here's my outfit (also worn with make up, my hair in a bun, and nude-coloured fishnets.)

How boo-tiful! Flapper dress from Forever21

Le Chateau heels

Vintage bag I've had since I was 3!

Pink jeweled feather hair clip from H&M

Estee Lauder lipstick in Apricot Sun

And...the pumpkin I carved today! It was supposed to be my Tiffany & Co. bow pendant, but kind of broke while I was carving it. I tried. Here it is:

Enjoy and have a safe and fun Halloween! xoxo

Ballerina Buns

I'm loving the new trend of high ballerina buns. Although it's really hard for me to do since my hair is very thick and has layers. Many celebrities such as Blake Lively, Whitney Port, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cameron Diaz, Hilary Duff, and many more have been spotted with this chic updo.

You can create this on your self by following these instructions*
Spritz hair with touchable hairspray to give you hold and body. Next, brush your hair into a high poly and secure it with an elastic. Hold three-inch sections of your hair straight up; starting with the ends, roll hair under to form a doughnut. Secure with bobby pins at the base.
